    It may not have been a thing of beauty, but the Warsaw Community High School girls' basketball team walked off with its own sectional trophy for the second year straight as the Lady Tigers beat Wawasee 46-30 in the championship contest Saturday night.

    Mr. and Mrs. Jack D. Hurt, former Kosciusko County residents, have been invited to appear on the Tri-Angle D. Roundup, a country music radio program broadcast every Sunday on WSBT in South Bend.

The program will also be featuring the Hurts' recent song "Crystal Clear Heartaches," recorded by Charlie Sloane of Cowtown Records.

    Milford High School will be represented by four contestants in the statewide English contest to be held this coming April, it was learned today. Entrants include the following members of the senior class: Katheryn Bretherick, Elizabeth Smith, Ann Anglin and Barbara Replogle.

    The Goshen Post of the American Legion has gone on record as being opposed to the passage of a bill before the Indiana legislature, which would prohibit commercialized sports on Memorial Day and would bar the 500-mile automobile classic run each year at the Indianapolis Speedway on Memorial Day.
