    Grace Schools president Dr. John Davis congratulated Lancer basketball coach Jim Kessler during pre-game ceremonies. Kessler was honored for his decade of service as a coach in the Lancer basketball program.

Feb. 15 1972

    Warsaw High School 400 freestyle relay swim recently set a new school record of 3:44.8 in that event during LaPorte sectional action. Members of the team include Dale Williams, Bill Gast, Steve Franklin and Rick Neville. The Tiger swim team is coached by Ed Troy.

Feb. 15 1947

    A survey of present condition of rural fire-fighting equipment over the state being conducted by Warsaw resident and state deputy fire marshal, Leolin (Bud) Moon. The investigation is being made in each township, with view in mind of encouraging procurement of additional equipment where necessary.

Feb. 15 1922

    County auditor Tom J. Nye received notification from the Indiana State Prison at Michigan City to the effect that 206 railroad warning signs to be placed at country crossings in Kosciusko County have been shipped from the penitentiary. The county pays for the signs, which will be installed and maintained by the railroad companies.
