    Michael Setlak, Pierceton, recently shot his first buck while hunting during shotgun season near Etna Green. the buck was a 9-pointer that weighed in at 153 pounds and was approximately 2-1/2 years old.

    Donna Sheline, a junior at Goshen College, is participating in a Jamaica Home Economics Seminar in that island country this fall from Sept. 5 to Nov. 26.

Donna is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Sheline, Rt. 2, Syracuse.

    If you like bells you can probably get your fill this year. One local store has some interesting imported ones - camel bells from Africa and sacred cow bells and Duwali bells from India. The latter are rung on New Year's Day. Sweetmeat sellers have a distinctive bell, too, it seems. An elephant's bell, intricately carved and decorated with enamel inlay, has an especially beautiful tone.

    BOURBON -ÊThe Bourbon Fair Association elected officers here as follows: F.M. Miltern, president; Will Weisert, vice president; F.M. Beck, secretary; T.W. Parks, treasurer. The sum of $4,000 surplus money in the treasury was put out on interest by the association. Plans are being made to erect a large building in the spring.
