Winners of the annual fire association poster contest were Bubba Wedly of Triton winning first place; Jon Harding of Atwood, second and Phillip Reed of Triton, third.
Edith and Leland Osborn, Rt. 2, Pierceton, were honored Monday by the Indiana State Dairy Association and recognized as "dairyman, Holstein breeders, state Holstein association boosters and agricultural leaders in Indiana."
Four Kosciusko County 4-H club members and two adult club leaders went to Chicago Tuesday to attend the International Livestock Show as guests of the Kosciusko County Farm Bureau.
Mildred Marvel entertained the 6-A class of Center ward at her home on Friday afternoon at a sewing party. The class is dressing dolls to be given to the Salvation Army for Christmas gifts. Marian McClellan is guardian. Eleven members were present. Margaret Clover will entertain them at a Christmas party.
