Player profiles contained in Wawasee's program for girls basketball have some interesting insights. Junior Whitney Pilcher recalls her most memorable moment came during a game when she began choking on her chewing gum while on the court. A teammate passed her the ball and she shot and scored. Meanwhile, an opposing player, attempting to block her out, performed a customized version of the Heimlich maneuver, sending the gum across the floor.

And then, Chandra Mathew, a senior, was asked who her favorite player is. While most teammates chose people like NBA greats Reggie Miller and Hakeem Olajuwan, Mathew chose Jennifer Kintzel, one of Warsaw's greatest female athletes, who graduated in 1994. That's classy, eh?
