    Rob Utterback, a senior at Warsaw Community High School, presented eight refurbished bicycles to the Warsaw Police Department Drug Abuse Resistance Education program for his Eagle Scout project.

Utterback is an Eagle candidate from Troop 776. The Eagle project is the last requirement for a Scout to complete to receive Scouting's highest award.

    Pharmacist C. Paul Gadson, Hooks No. 251 West, Warsaw, received training in emergency life support techniques at a recent seminar in Indianapolis. Pharmacists learned the proper methods to assist choking victims, heart attack victims and others in need of care until emergency personnel arrive.

    Peggy Drudge, 18, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harley Drudge, Silver Lake, has graduated from a Fort Wayne beauty college, having completed 1,000 hours of instruction during the past six months. Drudge was a member of the 1955 class at Silver Lake High School.

December 6 1930

    Ethna Scott, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R.A. Scott, of near Warsaw, has been honored at Ross College, Grand Junction, Colo., where she is taking a business course by receiving exceptionally high grades in shorthand. Scott received a mark of 95 in theory, and 99 and 7-8 in word signs in her final tests.
