An interesting story of the adventures in Fort Wayne of three Warsaw Club women was told by a husband of one of them.
"You know," said the husband, the coffee shop which advertises all you can eat for 50 cents? Well, my wife and two of her friends went over to buy prizes for a bridge club. The three went into this place and ordered a large oyster dinner, with trimmings. When their checks came the meals cost from 80 to 85 cents each. They did not know that the "all you can eat" sign was for a 'special.' The result was they did not have enough money to buy the bridge prizes that they wanted.
