    GREENCASTLE - Lara Anders of 523 S. Main St., Bourbon, is a member of DePauw University Festival Choir, a performance group in the university's school of music. She sings soprano in the 84-voice choral group.

A sophomore at DePauw, Anders is a 1989 graduate of Triton High School and is the daughter of Richard and Jerilyn Anders.

    Winners in the Triton Junior Miss competition last weekend were Terri Leiter, winner of the youth fitness category and recipient of a $25 savings bond; Lorrie McIntyre, winner of the scholastic achievement along with a $25 savings bond; Ann Byrer, Triton Junior Miss and winner of the creative and performing arts; and Callie Stiver, runner up in the contest; and Penny Gard, winner of the poise and appearance category and a $25 savings bond.

    Marlene Sand, Winona Lake, was elected president of the Winona Willing Workers 4-H Club at a recent meeting held at her home. Other officers are: Margaret Haney, vice president; Allegra Kemper, secretary; Suzanne Shipley, treasurer; Myrtle Lou Kemper, news reporter; Judy Burns, song leader; Jean Shue, recreation leader; and Patty Overmyer and June Burns, health leaders.

    A committee composed of Ed Cammack, Milo Maloy and Joe Hansman went to Fort Wayne to arrange for purchase of billiard and pool tables for the new Warsaw Masonic Lodge home.
