    ETNA GREEN - Indiana wildlife artist Jeffrey Klinefelter has won another stamp designing contest, but his designs won't be found in your mailbox and you can't buy them at the post office.

Klinefelter designs hunting stamps. The stamps may be purchased at sporting goods stores and glued to state hunting licenses. The 1993 Indiana duck stamp due for release just after Christmas was designed and painted by the 40-year-old Etna Green native. The stamp features a pair of wood ducks in flight.

    NORTH WEBSTER - Two new town board members, Greg Smith and Howard Beemish, were sworn in to office Wednesday by Town Attorney Robert Reed.

Beemish replaces Aaron Hinesley and Smith replaces Paul Royer.

    Pauline Jordan and Phillip J. Harris, both of Warsaw, began their new duties January 2 as county clerk and prosecuting attorney, respectively, but other wise there were few personnel changes at the court house.

December 4 1927

    A second airplane has been added to the Zimmer airport west of this city with the purchase of a JN4D, army training plane, by Raymond Zimmer.

Zimmer also is owner of a Standard ship, equipped with a 200 horsepower motor. The JN4D ship is equipped with a 150-horsepower Curtis motor, which will be increased to 180 horsepower by installation of pistons which give more compression.
