    David Allen Kirkpatrick graduated from Purdue University Sunday with a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering.

He is the son of John and Janet Kirkpatrick, Warsaw, and a 1989 graduate of Warsaw Community High School.

    Warsaw's multi-talented Dr. Virgil A. "Doc" McCleary has done it again!

With help from Dan Gast and others, Doc loaded up an electric organ in the wee hours of Sunday, Dec. 24, and provided the clientele at Breading's Cigar Store in downtown Warsaw with a pre-Christmas concert.

    Corporal Richard (Minn) Engle, who was in the fourth infantry division, is back home from two years' army duty. He spent 17 months of that time with the division at Glessen, Germany. Minn is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Willis Engle, of 421 W. Fort Wayne St. He will rejoin the employment of the Union Tool Corp., where he was working prior to his army service.

    Announcement was made that the new $45,000 addition to the Pierceton High School, which includes one of the finest gymnasiums in the state and which will seat 1,800, and with extra seats 2,800, probably will be officially opened and dedicated with the Pierceton-Warsaw high school basketball game Friday night, Jan. 4.
