    Warsaw's Jerry Nelson, a member of the Indiana Golf Hall of Fame, carded his 11th career hole-in-one Sunday at Stonehenge.

Nelson aced the No. 3, 175-yard hole with a 5-iron. Witnessing were Lex Dalton, Bill Lester, Stonehenge owner Ray Harroff, Mike Riecke and Ruben Rose.

    WEST LAFAYETTE - The Purdue University chapter of Phi Eta Sigma, freshman scholastic honor society, has initiated 130 new members. Among those initiated were two area students - Dave O. Jorvis, Atwood, and Richard A. Apeland, Warsaw.

    Mary Ann Drudge, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter O. Drudge, of Claypool, was graduated from a private secretarial school at Fort Wayne this week. Drudge was graduated from the Claypool High School with the class of 1954. Her extra-curricular activities were centered in sports and music.

December 3 1930

    "O Doctor," a three-act musical comedy home-talent play, pleased those attending the Centennial Theatre. The play was given under the auspices of the Kappa Alpha Phi fraternity. The play was divided into three acts. There were five large choruses and several speciality acts by Betty Dean Phillips. Donna Boone and Arnold Ferguson.
