    SIDNEY - Another piece of Americana has closed its doors in this small town that is home for about 200 people.

The town's U.S. Post Office, a part of the community for decades, closed Friday at 5 p.m. It will not reopen.

    For the ninth consecutive year, Da-Lite slide and movie projection screens were rated No. 1 in a nation-wide dealer preference survey, according to Camera Gazette Publishing Co., nationally know Chicago photographic merchandising publication.

In a copyrighted report by Publisher Larry Jacobsen, Camera Gazette listed Da-Lite with a perfect score of 100. Da-Lite has rated a perfect score of 100 in 15 out of 16 years.

    Mike Hodges, mayor-elect of Warsaw, made his second major city appointment to become effective when his administration takes office Jan. 1, naming Jesse E. "Bud" Eschbach to succeed John Widaman as city attorney.

Previously Hodges had named Frank Lucas, first deputy county sheriff, as head of the police and street departments.
