Bessie McCoy, Ellsworth Street, tells that her cat, Thomas John, traveled 235 miles from Corydon this summer to come back to her home.
The cat belonged to her brother, Ted Blue. Blue went to Florida for his health and McCoy took his cat to her farm at Tippecanoe. Last summer McCoy moved to Warsaw and left the cats at the farm until later in the fall. At Christmas, her brother, who had meanwhile moved to Corydon, was here and took the cat back to Corydon with him. McCoy was in Corydon this spring and inquired about the cat but no one knew what had happened to it. Sometime in September, McCoy saw the cat in her back yard and it recognized its name when she called it.
