    Steve Hawblitzel, a 1991 graduate of Warsaw Community High School, was recently hired as a professional water skier by Sea World in Orlando, Fla. Hawblitzel previously skied for two seasons at Marine World in Vallejo, Calif., and three seasons with the Kosco H2O Ski Show Team in Warsaw.

    A second assistant track coach has been selected by Tippecanoe Valley School administrators.

Dr. Lloyd W. Harrell, TVSC superintendent, will recommend that Phil See be appointed as the new assistant track coach at a special Tippecanoe Valley School Board meeting at the high school.

    County Auditor Earl Himes was elected president of the Indiana County Auditors Association during the concluding session of a three-day annual convention of the Indiana County and Township Officials Association, held in the Claypool Hotel at Indianapolis.

Himes, a resident of North Webster, had served as first vice president of the state auditors' group during the past year.

    Mrs. R. P. Knisely entertained the Sunday school classes of the Christian Church taught by Mrs. Lee Messersmith and Rachel VanCuren at her home on Perry Street. A merry evening was spent at contests and games. Leonard Nichols won a prize for pinning whiskers on Santa Claus when blindfolded. Those present were Everett Dunkleberger, Lawrence Banghart, Forrest Bennett, Leonard Nichols, Junior Gerard, Joseph Mosher, Robert Chambers and Wade and Jack Knisely.
