    David Addison, agriculture education instructor at Warsaw Community Schools, was among more than 400 agricultural educators attending the 85th annual American Vocational Association National Convention recently in Los Angeles.

Addison, currently the president-elect of the Indiana Vocational Agricultural Teachers Association, also served as a delegate for the IVATA, Ag Ed division membership committee at the convention.

    The Rev. Donald P. Sheline, pastor of the Solomon Creek United Methodist Church, Rt. 1, Syracuse, received the Indiana Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts Inc. conservation minister of the year award from Mrs. John D. Hardin, Rt. 2, Indianapolis, president of the IASWCD's Auxiliary. The presentation was made at the association's annual conference at Purdue University, West Lafayette.

    PIERCETON - The Alpha Nu chapter of the Delta Kappa Gamma honor sorority for women teachers held their formal initiation and banquet Dec. 3 at the Westminster Hotel, Winona Lake. Those attending from Pierceton were Maud Yontz, Louellen Hood and Vera Mae.
