    The Hall family farm and home at Clunette, owned by John and Maureen Hall, has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

It is thought to be the first private residence in Kosciusko County to gain such a listing.

    Naval Airman Apprentice Douglas A. Stutzman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin L. Stutzman, 856 W. Market St., Nappanee, has completed the Aviation Machinist Mate's Basic Jet Engine Course.

A 1977 graduate of NorthWood High School, he joined the Navy in June 1977.

    Dolores Vanator was chosen for the recreation leader for the next two months at the recent meeting of the Leesburg 4-H girls held at the school house.

Demonstrations were given by Ann McCorkle and Esther Landis. Nancy Kammerer presided and names were drawn for the Christmas gift exchange. Refreshments were served by Nancy Albert and Barbara Cremeens. Sue Martin led the recreation period.

    Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Liggett entertained members of the Silver Lake Bridge Club at their home in this city Wednesday evening. Prizes won by the ladies were: First, Mrs. John Ferverda; second, Mrs. Fred McKown; men, first, Delbert Kerlin; second, C.I. Bashore.
