    MENTONE - Tippecanoe Valley's Chris DuBois is the first area basketball player to make his college choice.

The 6-foot 8-inch senior center signed to attend Morehead State during the early signing period (Nov. 19). Morehead State is a Division I school located in Morehead, Ky.

    Arthur J. Brock, a longtime resident of Winona Lake and former police guard at the Winona schools, will celebrate his 90th birthday anniversary on Dec. 9, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Smith, 1807 Road 225W, Warsaw.

    Robert Henry Bonnet, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jean (Harriet) Bonnet, Pierceton, and Reynold DeVon Moore, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur (Wilma) Moore, Route 1, Pierceton, were graduated from International College, Fort Wayne, at the fall quarter exercise, according to L.W. Bulmahn, treasurer of the college.

    Professor H.J. Shirley and several of his agricultural students attended the contest given by the Band P. Potato Club, held at Milford. They took the first three prizes for the best potatoes entered. They sent some of the prize potatoes to Purdue.
