    Steve Galegor, Milford, has been initiated into Golden Key National Honor Society at Ball State University.

Galegor, 20, is a junior at the university, majoring in landscape architecture. The son of Steve and Chris Galegor, Milford, he is a graduate of Wawasee High School.

    Mrs. Robert Rasor, of 933 Country Club Lane, Warsaw, and her partner, Mrs. Patricia McPherson, Fort Wayne, won the overall championship of the "Pardee Construction Paris" - a single-session event at the fall national championships of the American Contract Bridge League in Las Vegas, Nev.

There were 176 pairs entered in the event won by Mrs. Rasor and Mrs. McPherson.

December 17 1948

    Fourteen-year-old Charles Jonas, Warsaw, wondered today what disposition to make of a carrier pigeon he found in a hayloft early Sunday night. The youngster, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ide Huffer, 1202 E. Center St., said he found the pigeon on a farm near Pierceton.

    Standing room was at a premium and many were unable to enter the Baptist Temple Sunday evening when the Baptist choir rendered the sacred cantata, "Story of Bethlehem."

The program was most enthusiastically received and was pronounced most excellent by the many Warsaw musicians who attended.
