Dan Drook, director of marketing for Da-Lite Screen in Warsaw, might have just experienced his 15 minutes of fame. Drook appeared on Bob Vila's "Home Again" television program last month, and will appear again this month.
Small World - proved again as Herman and Dorothy Frauhiger, North Buffalo Street, Warsaw, recently boarded a bus in Switzerland, heading for German. En route, Herm struck up a conversation with two sisters from Argentina. One of them had attended Grace College, Winona Lake.
G.L. Hippensteel, of North Manchester, has retired as freight conductor for the New York Central Railroad, effective Dec. 1. He made his final run between Anderson and Elkhart Nov. 30.
