A Warsaw couple last week won a Caribbean cruise from WSJV-TV 28 in South Bend. Brace and Bob Mayer won the prize Dec. 2 after seeing the 11 p.m. news.
Warsaw Community High School's swimming team defeated Huntington North 56-27 at the Kosciusko Community YMCA pool as three WCHS swimmers won two individual events apiece.
Robert Rank, of Litchfield Creamery, and Paul Jackson, county agent, will represent Kosciusko County at the Northeastern Indiana Dairy Association to be held in the chamber of commerce building at Fort Wayne.
Piano pupils of Nellie Kilan gave an informal recital at the home of Mrs. Merle Fund, 203 S. Indiana Street. Those playing were Barbara Dickey, Dale Miner, Sybil Saylor, Virginia Murphy, Helen Jeanne Richer, Jack Riddle, John Vanator, Ruth Jane Arnold, Ruth Newlin, Donella Cochran, Mary Cree Riddle. The recital was followed by a musical contest, the winner of which was Ruth Jane Arnold.
