    Warsaw's Sara Zielinski placed sixth in the World Horse Show in Oklahoma City recently. Zielinski's horse, Iza Classy Hobby, showed among 50 of the best horses in the country in the senior pleasure class.

Zielinski, a Warsaw Community High School sophomore, placed in the top 15 in the same competition a year ago.

    WEST LAFAYETTE - Kerry Price, assistant branch manager, and Dennis Burch, agricultural loan representative, both of the First National Bank, Warsaw, recently attended the Indiana Agricultural Banking School at Purdue University.

Burch is a first-year student while Price graduates from the school this year.

    Max Montel, Everett Montel, Arthur Ervin, Howard Nine, Ed Campbell, Elis Tucker, Lester Hohman and Ott Baldwin, of Sloan Creek, proved to be "friends indeed" to their neighbor, William Hoover. He had started building a hen house a few weeks ago when he was taken ill with pneumonia. His friends continued the construction leaving only the interior and window work for him to complete.

    A White Wyandotte hen belonging to William Gray Loehr, Warsaw, was awarded fifth place at Mount Grove, Mo., in the international egg laying contest for the month of November. the hen laid 26 eggs in November even though she did not begin to lay until Nov. 3. Loehr had a full pen of White Wyandottes at the contest, where they will compete for a full year.
