    Dana Corporate Offices announces the promotion of two employees.

Joe Magliochetti was promoted to president of Dana's North American operations and was appointed to the Dana policy committee, and Jack Reed will become a member of Dana's world operating committee with oversight responsibilities for the manufacturing discipline. He will continue with his present assignments of president, Spicer Axle Division, and as a member of the North American operating committee.

    Pupils who won first place in a poster contest sponsored by the McKinley School PTO are Kirk LeCount, special ed; Chrissie Engle, kindergarten; Toby Yeiter, first grade; Laura Morisson, first grade; Becky Fleck, second grade; Angie Howard, sixth grade; Scott Zook, fifth grade; Tina Harrel, fourth grade; and Jill Grose, third grade. The posters were made to advertise the PTO's Bake Sale.

    Mrs. Kenneth Priser, Mrs. Irene Ervin and Mrs. Ralph Fox, of Warsaw, went Friday to Toledo, Ohio. They will attend an interstate conference being held there this weekend by officers of Eagles auxiliaries in Indiana, Ohio and Michigan.

    R.A. Scott, who resides near Winona, brought to The Times office copies of the old Weekly Northern Indianian issued in 1872, which he found among some papers of his father. In those days newsprint paper was made of rags and not produced from wood pulp as now. The copies were in a splendid state of preservation.
