    For a local man tonight, a dream will come true.

Bill Parrish, the manager of creative services at Zimmer, will present a montage he created to one of his idols - Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. For Parrish, this is not the first piece of art he has created after a pro athlete. He has done similar works for people like Steffi Graf, Martina Navratilova, John Elway and Eric Davis. However, this is the first time Parrish has given away his work.

    A mortgage-burning ceremony is being planned at the Mt. Tabor Church at the intersection of county roads 800W and 850N, nine miles south of Nappanee this Sunday.

Rev. James McKibben said the mortgage will be burned on the present church building. The congregation recently held a groundbreaking ceremony for a new $50,000 addition to the structure.

    An albino coon was displayed here today much to the amazement of local trappers, who state they had never before seen or heard of a coon of that color - pure white, with pink skin and pink eyes.

Hubert Fawley, well-known local fur buyer, purchased the raccoon from Mel McGowan, of near Mentone. Fawley hopes that the coon skin will bring a fancy price because of its freak color.
