    Furman Martin Jr., Warsaw, has been awarded a Pearl Harbor survivor's medal.

Martin was injured in the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor 50 years ago. He was a corporal with an air mechanics rating at Hickam Field.

    Three-year-old Aimee Hamilton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hamilton, 1807 Hepler Drive, Warsaw, - The Times-Union Calendar Girl for December - is looking forward to the Christmas season. Although she is a bit shy of Santa Claus in her brief meetings with him, she says she would like for him to bring her a doll for Christmas.

    Four Kosciusko County men received recognition at the annual meeting of the Indiana Record of Performance Breeders Association, held in conjunction with the two-day poultry breeders' school at Purdue University.

Delford Nelson, Burket, was re-elected vice president, and Frank Merkle, Claypool, Gordon Rapp, Warsaw, and Charles Manwaring, Mentone, were named directors.
