    Warsaw can be proud of its Lori Miller, age 12, who won a statewide Summer Reading Club contest last summer. Lori is a seventh grade student this year at Warsaw Middle School. The contest she won was sponsored by the Division for the Blind and Physically Handicapped of the Indiana State Library.

Dec. 30 1972

    Sherry Zent, Rt. 2, Rochester, has received academic honors and has been named to the dean's list of International Junior College, Fort Wayne, at the close of the fall term. Eligibility for this honor is limited to those students carrying a full academic schedule with a 3.5 scholastic ratio out of a possible 4.0.

    Whether or not Warsaw will have a radio station is expected to be decided Friday. The competitive applications of the Logansport Broadcasting Corporation and the Kosciusko Broadcasting Company of Warsaw, for permission to build stations in their respective cities, will be heard before the Federal Communications Commission in Washington. Only one of the two stations can be granted.

    Paid up life insurance policies for one year, policies varying from $500 to $900, were Christmas presents given by the Winona Electric Light and Water Company to their employees who have been with the company for a year or more.
