    If ever there was a more unique style of celebrating Christmas Eve at six in the morning, it would have to be at Breading's Cigar Store. Coffee and rolls were free, compliments of co-owners Burleigh Burgh and Craig Smith. Their only request was a donation to the Pee Wee Football League.

    Melissa Ann Mosbaugh, daughter of Jo Ann Mosbaugh, 623 E. Center St., Warsaw, has been selected as one of 20 finalists from a field of more than 250 entrants in the Indianapolis Star cover girl contest.

    The 1947 sectional basketball classic will start on Feb. 26 at the Warsaw armory. The announcement came from the IHSAA. In the past, the Warsaw sectional consisted of 16 teams, all Kosciusko County schools and Larwill and Columbia City.

Dec. 26 1921

    The 1922 issue of United States treasury savings certificates are now on sale at the Warsaw post office. The new certificates are of $25, $100 and $1,000 denominations. The $25 and $100 certificates alone are purchasable at post offices of the presidential grade.
