    Troy F. Boyer, son of Richard E. and Jeannine M. Boyer, Warsaw, has been promoted in the U.S. Air Force to the rank of senior airman.

Boyer is a ground radio communications specialist at Whitman Air Force Base, Mo. He is a 1987 graduate of Warsaw Community High School.

August 9 1975

    Eleven-year-old Trisha Ayres proudly displayed her trophy for 'Fuzzy," the Grand Champion 4-H steer in the beef show at the Kosciusko County Fair. The Black Angus was a February calf. Trisha is in her second year of 4-H participation and is a member of the Rambling Farmers 4-H Club. Her parents are Mr. and Mrs. Tony Ayres of Silver Lake.

    Members of the Warsaw Junior Homemakers Club, who attended the state conference of Home Economics Clubs held at Purdue University, Lafayette, were Mrs. Boyd Howard, Mrs. Norman Huffer, Mrs. Ralph Henderson, Mrs. Harold Wolford, Mrs. Robert Devenney, Mrs. Clarabelle Demaree and Mrs. Clarence Gunter.

    Mrs. Harry Oram and granddaughter, Faye Oram, left for a three weeks' motor trip through the East. They will go to the Maine woods, New York City and other eastern points.
