WASHINGTON, D.C. - Gregory Stoddard of Syracuse recently completed the legal assistant course and has been awarded a diploma by the National Radio Institute of Washington, D.C.
Mrs. Marcus White, Pierceton, attended the fourth annual Upper Room Prayer and Bible Conference at Lake Junaluska, N.C. She was a guest of the Lambuth Inn overlooking the Smoky Mountains.
Ronald Serverns, of Ed Serverns and Sons, of Mentone, won second place during the weekend at the national Duroc blue ribbon show in Peoria, Ill.
C.L. Manwaring, of Mentone, a sophomore in the school of electrical engineering, and L.A. Rickel, of Claypool, a sophomore in the school of chemical engineering, are members of the famous Purdue University Military Band, which will provide one of the entertainment features at the annual Indiana State Fair at Indianapolis from September 1-8.
