    Brian Wallen, Warsaw, recorded a hole-in-one Saturday at Rozella Ford Golf Club. Wallen used a 6-iron to ace the 167-yard No. 2 hole. Witnesses were Tom Burley, Jamie Phillips and Mike Gorr. It was Wallen's first hole-in-one.

    Roger Vore, president of Vore Cinema Corp., Warsaw; and Larry Nellans, William Bibler and Larry Burkhart, of Kosciusko Investments Inc., announce that construction is under way on a new motion picture theater facility to be known as Center Cinema I & II.

The new cement block structure will be part of the Center Center shopping complex across U.S. 30, east of the Holiday Inn in Warsaw.

    Loyal Higgins, Warsaw, won medalist honors over the weekend in the qualifying round of the club championship at Tippecanoe Lake Country Club. Higgins shot a two-over-par 72, while his son, Thayer Higgins, was second with a 73.
