    Norm Hubler, a 1993 graduate of Warsaw Community High School, was among nearly 5,000 members and advisers from across the country who attended the Future Homemakers of America/ Home Economics Related Occupations national leadership meeting in Anaheim, Calif., in July.

Hubler participated in the Student Taking Action for Recognition events competition. He received a Three Star/Gold Metal Award in the food service event.

    Mrs. Elsbury of 748 N. Lake St., Warsaw, is the winner of a family reunion for two in McDonald's Salute to the Families of America.

Elsbury's name was drawn at the McDonald's at 315 N. Detroit St., during ceremonies on "McDonald's Family Day," July 16. She receives two free plane trips for friends or relatives to visit Warsaw for a family reunion.

    Mr. and Mrs. C.A. Rovenstine, of Atwood, have received a cablegram from their son, Dr. E.A. Rovenstine, of New York City, who is touring Europe, giving demonstrations in anesthesia. Dr. Rovenstine is head of the anesthesia department at Bellevue Hospital in New York. He was sent to Europe by the hospital. His parents report that he is fine but very busy.

    Pharmacist's Mate Frank C. Tillman, 28, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ira F. Tillman, of west of this city, is here on furlough of 10 days. He will go to the Great Lakes Naval Training Station for duty soon. He recently completed a tour of duty in the Orient.
