    WEST LAFAYETTE - Heather Lamb, 15, of Milford, was chosen as a delegate to the 73rd annual National 4-H Youth Congress to be held Dec. 3-7 in Orlando, Fla.

The congress will recognize leadership skills and achievements of 25 Hoosier 4-H members out of nearly 1,500 4-H'ers from around the United States and Puerto Rico who will attend the event.

    PERU -ÊStaff Sergeant Perry E. Tyler, son of Mrs. George Hostettler, of Nappanee, recently participated in Global Shield 79, an Air Force exercise conducted by the Strategic Air Command.

Sergeant Tyler is a fuel supervisor with a SAC unit at Grissom Air Force Base.

August 25 1954

    Dale Kehler, of East Clark Street, received a gold watch from Don Gatke, plant manager, for 25 years of continuous service with the Gatke Corp. Kehler started working for the company in 1929, is now foreman in the industrial and brake lining division. He is the third employee to attain a quarter-century service record. Gatke and Earl West previously received similar awards.

    ROCHESTER - Isaac H. Onstott, retired merchant of this city, has never been up in an airplane, but is looking forward with eager expectancy to the 5,000 miles of flying which will be a part of the Pacific Coast vacation trip awarded to him as the winner of the Indianapolis Star's Song Title Contest. "Sky Cruisin's My Choosin'" was Onstott's suggestion for the song title. He will be one of 10 regional title winners to take the Pacific Coast trip.
