    Susie Ostrowski recorded her first hole-in-one at the Stonehenge Championship Golf Course Tuesday.

Ostrowski aced the par 3, 95-yard, hole No. 7. She used an eight iron. The shot was witnessed by Pat Nelson and Janet Beatty.

    Thirteen-year-old Bobby Wagner of Warsaw practiced in back of his house prior to joining two other area youngsters in traveling to San Antonio, Texas, next weekend to compete in the American National Mini-cycle (AMA) Championship and the AMA National Schoolboy Championship.

Also making the trip will be Dave Johnson of Syracuse and Phil Lindeman of Columbia City.

    Flying a night bombing mission without a plane may sound impossible, but it's done almost everyday by students at the U.S. naval air station at San Diego, Calif. Teddy A. Carr, seaman apprentice, son of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Carr, of route 2, Warsaw, recently mastered the trick through the night vision course at the service school.

    The "Meadow Lark Trio," of Claypool, will be heard on the air Saturday night from Sears-Roebuck station WLS between 9 and 10 o'clock in the radio talent discovery contest.

Members of the Meadow Lark Trio are Maribel Tucker, piano; Alton Tucker, violin; and Gus Rickel, clarinet.
