MILFORD - Three new part-time deputies were introduced by Milford Town Marshal David Hobbs at the council meeting Community Building.
If Lora Luckenbill believed that four-leaf clovers bring good fortune, she would be the luckiest 11-year-old in town. She has an uncanny ability to find four-leaf clovers and she regularly spots five-leaf varieties. When she found a six-leaf clover it was cause for celebration. In one half-hour outing in her yard this week Lora found 25 four-leaf clovers. The Madison Elementary School sixth grader doesn't believe in the clover-luck myth, but her parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Luckenbill, 1826 Hepler Dr., Warsaw, believe they have a very special daughter.
A.G. Breaks, Winona Lake, was awarded the Medal of Merit for northeastern Indiana given by the state voiture of the Forty and Eight in a ceremony held at the local Legion Hall. Charles Wainwright, a district officer, made the presentation.
