Lindsey Munsch, 6-year-old daughter of Mike and Jean Munsch, Warsaw, took center stage at a South Bend Silver Hawks baseball game earlier this week. The family attended the game as part of Cub Scout Pack 3819 of Sacred Heart. Lindsey was selected from the crowd and outraced the famous Chicken around the base paths, barely outdistancing the mascot at home plate.
Cindy Tucker, the 15-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Tucker, of Warsaw, showed the Reserve Champion Barrow in the 4-H Swine Show held at the 1979 Indiana State Fair on Friday.
Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Roberts Jr., Mr. and Mrs. John Pinkerton, all of Warsaw, and Mr. and Mrs. Verl Bettinger, of Silver Lake, will leave Friday night to attend the All-Star football game at Soldier's Field, Chicago, Saturday.
Twenty-four members of the Delta Theta Tau sorority were delightfully entertained at the home of Mrs. Ignota Roberds with Mrs. Iva Ford, Lena Cox and Helen Ring assisting. Bridge and bunco were enjoyed with Helen Gilliam winning first prize and Winifred Anglin second in bridge. Margaret Kintzel won first prize in bunco.
