    INDIANAPOLIS - A North Manchester girl was crowned the 1991 Indiana State Fair Queen during a pageant Saturday night.

Presiding over the 12-day run of this year's fair will be Roberta Jo "Bobbi" Leckrone, of North Manchester.

    A resident of Winona Lake, Joel P. Pratt, has been named assistant product manager for DePuy, of Warsaw, according to Richard D. Nikolaev, executive vice president of the firm.

Pratt received a bachelor of science degree in management and administration from Indiana University School of Business. His parents are Mr. and Mrs. Ed Pratt, 411 Oak Hill Drive, Winona Lake.

    Penny, a small beagle puppy, came from Wisconsin with Bob Marx and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Marx, of Winona Lake, when they returned from a recent vacation in the north woods. Penny is a gift to Bob from his grandfather, A.C. Marx, of Kimberly, whose hobby is raising fine beagles.

    A final warning was issued today by Police Chief W.A. Winebrenner that boys who continue to use "nature's bathing suit" while going in swimming at Pike Lake and Walnut Creek dam will be arrested and prosecuted. The chief has repeatedly warned boys from going in nude at these places but the practice continues.
