Former Warsaw native Bernie White tied the knot with Julia Campbell last Saturday. White, who has had roles on "Hill Street Blues" and "Santa Barbara," was married outside Hollywood to his acting accomplice, Campbell, who starred in the now-defunct Fox Broadcasting show, "Women in Prison." Attending the wedding was his brother, Errol, who still resides in the area.

The Winona Railway yielded to the inflationary trend on Friday the 13th and boosted its fares for the Warsaw-Winona bus, making it 7 cents in Warsaw and Winona and 10 cents between the two places - with the exception that in the two places four tokens can be had for two-bits and school children will continue to ride for a jitney.
Work on the road-building through Atwood is progressing rapidly and when completed it will be one of the best gravel roads in this part of the state. If the state completes its work on the Yellowstone Trail, Atwood will be on the map for a considerable amount of tourist travel in the years to come.
