    The administration of Grace College has announced that a local student, Cathy Sauders, has been accepted for admission for the academic year beginning this fall. She is the daughter of Charles and Paulette Sauders of Warsaw.

    Nancy A. Rasor, 933 Country Club Lane, Warsaw, and Mrs. L.W. McConnell, Tri-Lakes, Columbia City, won first in a 60-player section of the Special Pairs, a two-session championship event of the 1975 Summer North American Bridge Championships.

    Bill Wedrick's state grand champ Hampshire boar for 1949 claimed a new honor when it was selected as the best aged boar of its breed in the United States at the nation Hampshire-type conference held at the fairgrounds, Springfield, Ill.

The 3-year-old champ, "Hoosier Glory," weighs 1,000 pounds.

August 12 1925

    A three-legged calf, born on the farm of Donald Grubbs, Tippecanoe, near Mentone, is doing well, the owner informed The Times while in Warsaw today. Grubbs may exhibit the freak of nature here during the fair. Twin calves were born on the Grubbs farm Saturday.
