    Christina Beck, 29, formerly of Warsaw, has been named Outstanding Young Woman of America for 1991.

Beck, who also received the award in 1986, is a doctoral candidate at the University of Oklahoma in the department of communication. She is the daughter of Sarah Beck and the granddaughter of George and Elizabeth Groscost, Warsaw.

    Twelve-year-old Tricia Ayres, of Rt. 2, Claypool, smiled after showing the second consecutive Grand Champion 4-H steer at the Kosciusko County Fair. Tricia is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Terry Ayres.

    Elizabeth Taber, Winona Lake, was chosen the most outstanding nurse among 23 student nurses graduated from Methodist Hospital school of nursing in ceremonies held at the Wayne Street Methodist Church, Fort Wayne.

The list of graduates also included Elizabeth Breitkopf and Dolores Mae Grist, both of North Manchester.
