Jane Fawley, 17, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Max Fawley, Rt. 6, Warsaw, is the Times-Union calendar girl for August. Her selection as the calendar girl is timely since the annual Kosciusko Country Fair opens Monday and Jane showed the Grand Champion steer last year. Jane recently was awarded Grand Champion honors at the Converse Fair with her cross-breed steer named "Beat." She will be a senior at Wawasee High School in the fall.

Morris Bebb of Winona Lake was happily surprised when he received more than 100 post cards through the mail, extending congratulations and good wishes on the occasion of his 87th birthday anniversary. The elders and trustees of the local church gave the suggestion to the citizens because of the fact that he is one of the ruling elders in the Presbyterian church. Bebb is one of the oldest residents of the park and is greatly loved by all who know him.
