    Malcolm Williams dropped a hole-in-one Tuesday at Tippecanoe Lake Country Club. Williams aced the 144-yard hole No. 8. Witnesses were Al Schmeiser, John Lee and Don Frantz.

Jim Seward dropped his tee shot in the No. 5 hole Tuesday at Stonehenge Golf Club. The hole was 204 yards, and the shot was witnessed by Mike Walton.

    Honored Who's Who Among American High School Students is Sarah Hawley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Hawley, 610 W. Market St., Warsaw.

A 1974 graduate of Warsaw Community High School, Sarah is to be featured in the Eighth Annual edition of Who's Who Among American High School Students, 1973-74.

    When the ice cream wagon approached the home of the Fred Hartmans at 508 W. Center St., son John, age 3, went out to meet it and he was well-heeled, we might say, to finance a five-cent cone. His mother followed him to the corner and saw something fluttering in his hand. It was a $20 bill out of the family treasury.

    Miriam Wheeland, daughter of Dr. Wheeland, Chicago, well-known as a summer resident at Winona Lake, is doing duty at Winona Lake's bathing beach at Kosciusko Lodge. Wheeland is a member of the Illinois Athletic Club and A.A.U., and holds some world's swim records, including the relay mark.
