Rain and a high wind did much damage last evening near Claypool. A silo at the Adam Woodyard farm was blown over, a fallen tree blocked the Dixie Highway, Israel Garman's team hitched to a load of wheat ran away during the high wind, and hay ladders on a hay rack at the Levi Fruitt farm were picked off the wagon and carried around the other end of the barn. Oat fields were damaged.
