Even though there appears to be quite a bit of support to keep Warner School, that 150-year-old building believed to be the first school in the area in North Webster, Warsaw school officials have the county historical society in their corner. The Historical Society would like to acquire control of the building and move it from North Webster to Warsaw.

Richard Heagy and Joe Nice, outstanding football players at Warsaw High last season, are making plans for entering Manchester College and Indiana University. Bob Bayne and Bob Burns reportedly have signed to play semi-pro football in Fort Wayne this fall.
The Union Street threshing ring held their business meeting and picnic at John Minear's cottage, Yellow Creek Lake. There were 62 present. The men spent the afternoon pitching horseshoes and playing catch while the women enjoyed themselves chatting.
