    The Teacher Education Dept. of Grace College, Winona Lake, has announced that Robert Harris, Warsaw, and Todd Davis, Zionsville, have been selected to receive the Outstanding Prospective Teacher Award for 1988.

The award is based upon the student's performance during student teaching, which took place during the fall of 1987.

    Warsaw's newest store, the TSC, (founded as Tractor Supply Company), will hold the grand opening from April 6-15. The store, located at 2703 E. Center St., Warsaw, will carry a complete line of items for both the farmer and the city dweller. Ken Young is the manager.

    An initiation ceremony was conducted at the meeting of the Warsaw chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star held Tuesday evening at the Masonic Temple in which Mrs. Ed Bronsing, Mrs. William Crall, Mrs. John Ladd and Mrs. R.M. Whitney were received into membership.

    A runaway team of farm horses hitched to a hayrack dashed into an ornamental street lamp post last evening near the Bibler and Son undertaking establishment, W. Main St. The driver stuck to his place but was unable to stop the team until the team ran straddle of the post, which was damaged by the collision.
