Grace College students Laura Morrison and Julie Rogers, both of Warsaw, and Kelli Hoke, Winona Lake, have been selected to receive an honorable mention as "Outstanding Prospective Teacher" for 1993.
New Elk's Club Auxiliary officers for the 1978-79 year are: Kathy Baumbaugh, treasurer; Arleen Koors, president; Thelma Pittenger, chaplain; JoAnn Dye, secretary; Fran Shriver, vice-president; Karen Morrisey, assistant secretary; Esther Edwards, historian; and Mary Scoles, publicity. There are 192 members of the Elk's Auxiliary in Kosciusko County.
Charles J. Myers, Milford, has been promoted to cadet first lieutenant in the Reserve Officers Training Corps at Indiana University, by order of Col. M.J. Coyle, commanding officer of the I.U. Department of Military Science and Tactics. The I.U. cadet corps totals nearly 3,000 students.
The entertainment presented last evening at the Presbyterian Church by members of the Indiana University Glee Club was well attended by Warsaw people and many from towns in Kosciusko County and neighboring counties. Kenneth Coyle, son of Mr. and Mrs. Oral C. Coyle, East Market Street, was in the chorus and played three violin solos.
