Tausha Lambright, 9, was selected as the Indiana representative in the "Say 'No' To Drugs" March, to be led by Nancy Reagan May 11 in Washington, D.C. Her name was drawn in a contest sponsored by the Proctor & Gamble Co. She is a fourth grader at North Webster Elementary School, and the daughter of Roger and Monica Lambright, Route 2, Syracuse.
Andrew Foerster received first place at the regional science fair held recently at the Fort Wayne Memorial Coliseum. His project was in engineering, "Design and Repair of Electronic Equipment." Brett Anderson received fifth place in the botany division with his project, "Various Wood Identifications." Foerster and Anderson are students at the Pierceton School.
Mrs. Rose Hetrick, North Manchester, came to Warsaw Tuesday especially to attend the 59th anniversary of the local chapter of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Hetrick, who was the guest of Mrs. Naomi Conrad, is the only living charter member of the local chapter.
Portable saw mill equipment now located at the Rozella Ford Farm, is cutting huge timbers and boards out of native logs some 20-feet long, from which a large new barn will be built there, two miles south of this city. The Rozella Ford barn was completely destroyed by fire about a year ago in which much livestock perished with a damage of many thousands of dollars.
