    The first Hoosier Academic Super Bowl was held in 16 different sites across the state in regional/semistate competition. Warsaw, Tippecanoe Valley and Triton were among the 10 schools in action at the Triton gymnasium.

    Four outstanding young people from Warsaw High School and two Warsaw graduates will tour Europe with a group known as "The Sounds of Hope." The tourists will be Kimm Edwards, Sue Crandall, Kevin Mannoia, Karen Sells, Ava Gunter and Jane Glover.

    Marion Warner, former Warsaw newspaperman and policeman, has been tentatively employed as night policeman and traffic patrolman at Winona Lake for the coming summer rush season.

April 29 1922

    An ornamental street light, a sample of the style upon which the city council will receive bids and decide at an early meeting, is now on display at the city hall. A 500-candle power lamp gives excellent light from this street lamp. The city fathers do not expect to use a light as strong as 500-candle power because of the expense.
