    HUNTINGTON - Warsaw Community High School graduate Brian Elliott fired a 2-over-par round of 73 to earn medalist honors for Grace College at the National Christian College Athletic Association District 3 golf tournament at Norwood Golf Course.

    Gordy Clemens, star forward with the Warsaw Community High School basketball team this past season, has signed a national letter of intent to attend Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio.

Clemens, who stands 6-7, averaged nearly 17 points and 12 rebounds per game in helping lead the Tigers to a 17-8 season record and the first regional championship in 39 years.

    Mr. and Mrs. C.A. Rovenstine, Atwood, will celebrate their 58th wedding anniversary on April 12. They have four sons, Dr. E.A. Rovenstine, New York City, Gene Rovenstine, Bourbon, and Joseph and Tim Rovenstine, both of Atwood.

    Lucy Upson has been admitted as a member of the Kosciusko County Bar. Upson is the only woman lawyer in the county at the present time. She will remain with Bowser & Bowser.
