    WRSW AM and FM, one of the longest-running radio stations in Indiana, is expanding its service to 24 hours.

Rather than the traditional sign-off at midnight each night, the station will begin a 24-hour format Sunday, said station manager Harvey Miller.

April 27 1980

    MENTONE - Randy Paris and Jolie Skinner were recently named the most valuable swimmers for the Tippecanoe Valley Aquatic Club.

Other awards were presented at the winter swim banquet, including most improved trophies to Ellen Burdge and Craven Lynn. A new mental attitude plaque went to Jeff Feldman.

April 27 1955

    Mrs. Harry Zartman was elected president of the Sunshine Club at a meeting held recently at the home of Mrs. Arthur Gable, of Claypool.

Other officers elected were Mrs. Floyd Walters, vice president; Mrs. Dale Copeland, secretary-treasurer; Mrs. Max Montel, assistant secretary-treasurer; and Mrs. Gable, reporter.

April 27 1930

    The Warsaw Public School Band, consisting of 52 pieces, is recognized as one of the best musical organizations of the kind in Indiana. The youngest of the musicians is 9 and the oldest is 17. The band is under the direction of Phil Farren.
