    Winners of the ABCD Scramble at Rozella Ford Sunday have been released.

The team of Roger Hyden, Phil Conley, Dave Packer and Jim Fugate fired an 8-under to claim first place. Second place went to the foursome of Bob Brock, Kevin Nance, Mike Thorn and Jack Kercher. That team won a playoff with two other teams to take second.

    The Warsaw Girls' Club was a busy place as tourney winners were decided in two different events.

Barb Kintzel won the 8-10 air hockey tourney and Becky Lindzy took the 11-14 group. Kintzel also won the free throw tourney in her age group, while Brenda Konkle was the best in the 15-and-over category.

April 25 1951

    Everett R. Rookstool, Beaver Dam, recently received a Hampshire gilt from Ralph Bishop as winner of the outstanding 4-H club member award for those exhibiting Hampshire hogs at the 1950 state fair. The gilt was presented at a recent sale held at the Bishop farm near Atlanta, Ind. Rookstool won it on the basis of his all-around achievement record.

    Earl Scott, Delco Light dealer for the southern part of Kosciusko County, has gone to Toledo, Ohio, where he will take a course in installation and care of the new Delco farm electricity plant. A new Delco product is now sold for $275. It uses no storage battery. Scott maintains Delco headquarters in Warsaw at the Pottenger Brother Hardware store.
