The Canasta Club meeting was held at the home of Alice Meeks, with Beverly Garman as hostess, on March 15, with seven members present.
Derry Dillon, hair stylist, has joined the staff at Captain's Quarters, Warsaw. He moved to Warsaw from Indianapolis after training in perms, advanced hair cutting and styling and French razor techniques. He enjoys all sports and outdoor activities.
Martha Thomas, daughter of Mrs. John Baughn, of Leesburg, and Dr. E.W. Thomas, of Warsaw, and Marilyn Sutton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Sutton, Leesburg, have been named valedictorian and salutatorian, respectively, of the 1955 graduation class of Leesburg High School.
Milo Snyder, officer of the local national guard company, is winner of the Indiana individual gallery marksmanship championship for 1930. Snyder, while not winning any of the three events, 20 shots off-hand, and 20 prone with rifle, and 10 with pistol, had the highest average for the three events and was given the individual winner's medal.
